Driver Career Choice Program
Allows drivers to consider new-hire driving positions within the Con-way enterprise.
- This program is open to eligible truckload drivers interested in moving to an LTL environment and LTL drivers looking for a new driving experience and lifestyle change as a long-haul, over-the-road truckload driver.
Maptuit® NaviGo™ Navigation System
Throughout 2012 all company and Qualcomm-equipped owner operator tractors will have the new technology installed.
- The NaviGo system features several safety, accuracy, efficiency and cost benefits for an improved driver experience and reduced costs.
Destination Ownership
A lease program for qualified company drivers to become owner operators.
- Drivers in good standing with a minimum of one year of service with Con-way Truckload are eligible to purchase a Con-way Truckload trade truck at a low outright cost or through an affordable leasing program.
- Approved drivers are able to examine the truck of their choice prior to final detailing and paperwork.
- Trucks purchased through Destination Ownership include an extended warranty.
Guaranteed Team Pay
Regardless of miles driven, qualified teams will be guaranteed weekly pay of 5,000 miles.
- Designed to prevent week-to-week disparities in team drivers’ available miles.
- Eligible drivers, who adhere to the program guidelines, will receive payment for a minimum of 5,000 miles per week, even if their miles don’t hit that benchmark.
